Orla Doyle Boxer

Orla Doyle - White Collar Boxer

Orla is married to Robbie, is aged 21!! and mother of four children. Her eldest child, Ciaran has Down Syndrome and spent the early years of his life in hospital both here and abroad. Due to this Orla had to give up a job she loved as an engineer, but it was worth it as now Ciaran attends mainstream school and is thriving.

Fundraising for Down Syndrome Dublin

Orla works hard fundraising for Down Syndrome Dublin; And the month of June is going to be a tough one when she will participate in the Flora women's mini marathon on Monday 4th June, then less than 3 weeks later she will compete as one of our Boxers in a White Collar Boxing event that she is organising on Saturday June 23rd in the Ballsbridge hotel.

Where's the money going?

All sponsorship money raised will go directly to our charity and provide much needed services for children and adults with Down Syndrome.

A great day was had by all and the rain held off.

I would like to thank the Staff of the Westbury Hotel who made us feel very welcome and to Rm photography who took our photos on the day.

For our lovely T-shirts I would like to thank our sponsor Cahills Centra. For our lovely red goodies bags we can thank Robert Doyle ECO Build Ltd and for all the cool stuff inside we can thank Robert Roberts, Cahill’s Centra, Cadburys, Avon and many more.

The funds raised will be directly used to fund our speech therapy workshops running during the summer months, this programme would not be possible without your fundraising assistance.
